FFA Chapter

The three circle model is the driving force behind a successful Agricultural Education Program.  The 3 circles are FFA Leadership, supervised agricultural experience, and class instruction. To fulfill this model, every student that is enrolled in an Agriculture class at Monrovia High School is a member of the Monrovia High School FFA Chapter.  Chapter members also have the opportunity to participate in various FFA contests throughout the year to include:

  • Livestock Skill-a-thon

  • Soils Judging

  • Entomology

  • Crops

  • Welding

  • Agricultural Issues

  • Agriscience Fair

  • Leadership Contests to include public speaking and demonstrations

Chapter members also have the opportunity to attend the State and National FFA Conventions, Leadership Camps, and Agricultural Industry Tours.  There are also opportunities for community service throughout the year.
