Choir

The Monrovia Choir Program seeks to create a welcoming and safe environment for students to be able to learn and grow in their musical journey and bring music to life through reading music, learning about how music fits in our society, and performing music. 

Programs

• 6th & 7th Grade Choir- Includes 2 concerts a year with opportunities to sing for the community.
• Concert Choir (Intermediate Choir)- Includes 2 concerts a year, competitions around the Indianapolis area, an ISSMA contest, and local performance opportunities.
• Show Choir "Shooting Stars" (Advanced Choir)- Includes competitions across the Indianapolis area in February and March of each year, as well as, local performance opportunities.

Achievements

• Multiple placements at the ISSMA State Show Choir Competition!
• Awarded best vocals and best choreography at multiple competitions across central Indiana!
